XTech Opens Manufacturing Facility in China

New Initiative Responds to Customer Needs and Gives XTech More Design and Manufacturing Control of Its Front Panel Systems and Enclosures

RANDOLPH, Mass., — Extrusion Technology (XTech), a leading global manufacturer of mechanical solutions for circuit-board mounting systems, today announced that it has opened its first wholly-owned foreign enterprise in Xiamen, China.

The new facility, XTech Mechanical Assembly-Xiamen, will perform final assembly production and bring finished front panel systems and enclosures closer to XTech's Asian customers.

For the past three year XTech has been manufacturing products in Asia through a partnership. Now with the establishment of XTech Mechanical Assembly-Xiamen, XTech can control the whole supply-chain process, from partnering on design with its regional customers to managing the entire quality system.
