XTech Launches Both Standard and
Customized Compact PCI Front Panels
Line compatible with all manufacturers' chassis and part; custom sizes available with no minimum orders
September 10, 2002XTech, a leading manufacturer of custom aluminum enclosures and front panel systems for electronics equipment, today introduced a comprehensive line of both standard and customized Compact PCI front panels.
The new line offers users multiple options for configuring their embedded electronics systems. Customers can mix and match components from virtually any manufacturer; the XTech Compact PCI panel line is compatible with chassis, racks, ejectors, handles, or gaskets from Pentair, Elma, Rittal and other manufacturers. Using its own extrusion and finishing equipment, XTech can also design, finish and assemble fully customized, affordable variations to standard specifications.
"XTech is one of the few firms that can provide near maximum configuration flexibility for customers," says Rick Winter, XTech sales and marketing director. "We have the equipment and capacity to handle orders of any size, which lets us turn around orders very affordably for prototypes or production units in just a few weeks."
Made from extruded aluminum, XTech panels feature extra ruggedness and unmatched EMI/RFI shielding. XTech panels require no forming or bending, and can be shaped into numerous design variations: square corners for a crisp look; detents for plastic labeling, or offsets for EMI shielding strips or clips. With punch tooling and CNC machining, XTech adds connectors, hoods or LED configurations to the face or fasteners to the legs.
XTech supplies finger stock or foam gaskets, ejectors of any type, board holders, and screws for its Compact PCI panels. The firm also has facilities for creating labels, overlays, custom holes and cutouts, as well as all types of finishing: Chromating, anodizing, painting, and silk screening.
